Greenlight is a creepy thriller set in Australian wine country. The Prologue is terrifying and intriguing, providing an excellent hook for the rest of the book as it places you right inside the mind of the victim.
Our protagonist Jack Quick, a podcaster (bonus points for his profession) becomes embroiled and obsessed by putting the pieces of a second crime together. Stevenson reveals many sides to Jack, as the reader begins to dislike his manipulation of events we are shown a new side to him, adding complexity and ambiguity to our hero.
A wonderfully character driven psychological thriller will have you hooked from the start. Greenlight is well-paced, its revelations adding to the complexity of the book.
