Book Review: Jack Heath
500 Minutes of Danger, Jack Heath
This collection of short stories are so engaging, fun to read and definitely dangerous! Jack Heath takes his characters and puts them in some of the most dangerous circumstances and just when you think it can’t get any worse it does! Opening with stories such as Quicksand, Acid Rain and Buried Alive these short sharp stories are enough to engage any reader. They are also meant to be read in real time with a count down on the side.
I’m going to write a mini unit around these stories. Excellent for teaching suspenseful short stories, setting and conflict.
